It was magic Monday for Europe as they won The Ryder Cup on a sensational final day at The Celtic Manor Resort, Wales.
With the USA as the defending holders, the event was played on the newly constructed Twenty 10 course, specifically designed for the Ryder Cup at the Celtic Manor.
As if they did not have enough Ryder Cup heroes already, Ireland came up with another amid amazing scenes at The Celtic Manor Resort - a real giant in Graeme McDowell. The 31 year old from Portrush won back the trophy for Europe when everything depended on him.
Colin Montgomerie's side lost the singles 7-5, but having taken a three-point lead into the day - the first Monday in Ryder Cup history after all the heavy rain, they triumphed by a 14½ to 13½.
This presentation displays a full size official replica pin flag as used at the Celtic Manor. Above and below this are stunning colour photos of the Team celebrating, Ian Poulter celebrating in the singles, the moment McDowell sunk the winning putt and Westwood with Jimenez and his famous Cigar!.
