After registration... A personalised supporter certificate and a photograph of your pony will be dispatched to you within 28 days.
FAQs How long do I have to register my gift? You need to register your gift before the ‘register by’ date on your gift registration booklet. We recommend that you register your gift as soon as possible.
How do I choose which pony to adopt? Simply read through the Ponies for Adoption booklet which gives details of the various ponies available for adoption. Decide which one you would like to adopt and then make your choice when you register the gift.
How long does my adoption last? Your adoption lasts for 12 months from the date of registration.
How long does it take for me to receive my certificate and photograph? These will be dispatched within 28 days receipt of your registration details. Occasionally, factors outside of Gift Republic’s control may affect delivery times.
Can I visit the ponies? Yes! All of the ponies available for adoption are based at the Exmoor Pony Centre which is run by the Moorland Mousie Trust. However, ponies are sometimes given rest time away from the Centre. In order to get the most from your visit, be sure to contact the Centre beforehand to avoid disappointment. Full contact details are provided in the gift tin.
Will I be able to ride my adopted pony? It may be possible for some visitors to ride their adopted pony. There are starter sessions for beginners/novices, and rides on the open moor for more experienced riders over 10 years of age. Riding is subject to availability, riding ability and weight restrictions. There is an additional cost involved to ride your adopted pony however all proceeds go directly to the charity so by riding your pony you will actually be further helping to look after your pony!
