This course is ideal for anyone who is thinking of learning to fly. One of our instructors will take you through the first exercises of our training course.
ou will have an hour in the air, followed by a briefing on the ground, then another hour in the air. During this time you will become familiarised with the helicopter and the safety issues that surround it. You will learn the effects of the controls as well as get hands on experience with them. Your instructor will also take you to Nottingham or Leicester Airfield where you will have the chance to hover the helicopter yourself.
At the end of the course you will be presented with your own Pilot Logbook which will detail the exercises you have taken part in. The Logbook is essential for recording the hours you have flown should you wish to gain a PPL(H). Your instructor will then give you a de-brief and the opportunity to ask any questions that he may not have answered before you leave.
Notes
On purchasing this experience you will get a voucher with valid period of 10 months. Within the given period you can schedule the experience following the instructions mentioned in the given gift pack. The minimum age limit is 17 years and any participant underage should be accompanied by an adult. Maximum height is 6’4’’ and weight must be below 16 stone.
